Booking Your Appointment
Calderdale Registration Service operates exclusively on an appointment-only basis. You can book appointments by calling 01422 288 080 or emailing register.office@calderdale.gov.uk. For ceremony bookings, contact ceremonies.team@calderdale.gov.uk. The office also offers online certificate ordering and web chat services during business hours for added convenience.
Required Documents

Processing and Fees
Standard certificates cost £12.50 and are processed within 10 working days. Priority service costs £38.50 with next working day processing for orders placed before 3pm (Monday to Friday only). Online and phone ordering available. Certificates are posted using Signed For® 1st Class delivery to UK addresses for an additional £2.

After extensive renovation in 2009, this beautiful building now houses the registration service while retaining its historic character with original features including painted Arts and Crafts staircase and 17th-century cellars.
Special Notes
The office is closed for staff training between 9am and 11am on the first Wednesday of each month. Web chat support is available Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. For Saturday enquiries, email contact is preferred. The building offers both administrative services and beautiful ceremony spaces in one historic location.
